About Faversham
Faversham, one of Britain's finest historic towns, a very picturesque medieval market town. Many of the buildings which were built in the 18th century have been restored and thankfully, are on view today. A market is held under the Guildhall (Tuesday, Friday and Saturday). Baldwins is located just behind the Guildhall in the central Market Place.

Faversham has very strong links with the brewing industry; Shepherd Neame, the oldest brewery in Britain, is situated right in the heart of town. The bitter sweet aroma of hops and malt is unmistakable, a reminder of the constant cycle from Kentish hop gardens to enthusiastic recipient.
Explore the villages around Faversham, most have good village pubs and the scenery is wonderful and the history fascinating.
Faversham is easily accessible by road and rail. One hour from London, 30 minutes from the ferry ports of Dover, Folkestone and the Channel Tunnel, and only 20 minutes from the International "Eurostar" rail station at Ashford. Train services from Faversham to Victoria take approximately 65 minutes.
